Dear Comrades,

Hope this finds all of you and the members hale & hearty. As you are well aware from the website of Ministerial Staff Association that our C.E.C. Meeting is going to be held at Bhubaneshwar on 22nd and 23rd January, 2013.  All branches irrespective big, mediocre or small ones are reasonably expected to attend this important meeting in the present situation. Branches will, please decide the names of the Delegates immediately and send the list of Delegates direct to Com. P.K. Dash, Deputy Secretary General (CHQs) Hony. Secretary, Bhubaneshwar Branch, C/o Orissa GDC , Survey of India, PO RR Laboratory, Bhubaneshwar either by post or FAX under intimation to me so as to reach to both of us latest by 2nd January, 2013 positively. Branches will, please intimate the host branch about the date of their arrivals including number of delegates for their own convenience so that at any point of necessity Delegates can be attended at Railway stations/Bus stand by local Comrades. Considering the fact that CEC is going to be held in winter season, all branch are requested to book their return tickets immediately after completion of organisational activities to avoid any further inconvenience to the host branch. MACP on Hierarchy: Supreme Court dismissed the Govt. petitions against HC Decision

MINISTERIAL STAFF ASSOCIATION, SURVEY OF INDIA Dear Comrade, The Principal CAT [OA 904/2012 dt. 26-11-2012], Delhi and the Punjab & Haryana High Court [CWP No. 19387 of 2011 (O&M) Date of Decision: 19.10.2011] have held that MACP is to be granted on promotional hierarchy and not on next higher Grade Pay as per the 6th Pay Commission Recommendation.  The SLP filed by Union of India against the P&H decision was dismissed by the Supreme Court [CC 7467/2013].
