SUB: MISUSE OF POWERS & POSITION AND ALSO MAKING UNNECESSARY HARASSMENT TO THE EMPLOYEES BY Dr. M. STALIN DIRECTOR BIHAR GDC. SURVEY OF INDIA, PATNA — YOUR INTERVENTION REGARDING.

Sir,

Kindly refer to the lettes quoted under reference above on the subject in which we have pointed out about the activities of the Director, Bihar GDC, Patna (Dr. M. Stalin) who is misusing his powers and position and also is actin^g_ in office in an autocratic and dictatorial manner. He is soley engaged himself against the employees and harassing them without any reason. We have, therefore, requested your good offices to intervene and to issue necessary orders to restrain the Dr. Stalin from the unwanted activities mentioned therein and requested that the said Director be transferred to any other place to save the employees from unwarranted harassment and also to save the work culture of the Bihar GDC. A photo copy of the letter dated 5.3.2013 is enclosed herewith for your ready reference please.

2. But surprisingly, it is found that despite our letter dated 5-3-2013 in the matter, the said Director is still continuing with the unwanted activities which are against the employees of the Bihar GDC. The said Director has not only spoiled the work culture of the Bihar GDC, but also destroyed the harmonious relationship between employer and employees existed prior to posting of Dr. Stalin as Director. The said Director has brought such an unhealthy atmosphere which can be visualized from the Resolution adopted by the Branch Associations/Union of Patna dated 12-5-2013. A photo copy of the same is enclosed herewith for your ready reference please.

3. We are surprised to note that despite our letter dated 5-3-2013, it appears that the Office of the Surveyor General of India is silent spectator instead of issuing appropriate instructions to the said Director, Bihar GDC for bringing a cordial atmosphere. It is also pertinent to mention here that the Office of the Surveyor General of India has not intimated about the action taken on the letters of the Associations/Union dated 8-2- 2012 and 5-3-2013.

4. In view of above, it is requested that the said Director of Bihar GDC may kindly be restrained from the unwanted activities mentioned in the Resolution dated 12-5-2013 and also submittted in our joint letter dated 8-2-2012 and 5-3-2013 mentioned above. It is also requested that the said Director may kindly be transferred to any other place not only to save the employees from the unwarranted harassment, but also to save the work culture of the Bihar GDC.
